Uplifters

Uplifters is a nonprofit charity in Hong Kong that provides online courses such as financial education to domestic helpers. They recently have developed a new baby care course to help employers and domestic helpers to work as a team for baby care. 

Content

  • Module 1: Baby’s well-being, hygiene and home environment
  • Module 2: Baby’s development, common risks and safety tips, emergency situations management 

Costs

  • US$100 (~HK$775) for one module
  • US$150(~HK$1170)  for two modules bough together

  • This course was created by Dr Blandine Prevost, a registered paediatrician, and Benedicte Le Caherec, a pediatric nurse who also has experience as a daycare centre director.

Certificate

  • Certificate of completion will be delivered to your domestic worker upon full completion and passing the final online exam with at least 75% correct
